Gifted and Talented Program Referral & Testing Information 2025–2026

We are excited to begin the referral process for our Gifted and Talented (GT) program. Below are important dates and information for families interested in referring their child.

Referral Windows

Grades 1–4: August 25 – September 9, 2025
Kindergarten: December 1 – December 12, 2025
 

Testing Windows

Grades 1–3:
Phase One: September 10 – September 30, 2025
Phase Two: October 1 – October 24, 2025
Note: These dates may shift based on the number of students referred.
 

4th Grade:
Testing sessions will be given by the classroom teachers. Dates are set by the school district.
 

Kindergarten:
Phase One: January 7 – January 23, 2026
Phase Two: January 26 – February 20, 2026
Note: Dates may vary depending on the number of referrals.
 

Results Timeline
Grades 1–3: Results will be available after all district testing is complete and the committee has evaluated all data. This typically occurs toward the end of the fall semester.
4th Grade: Results will be shared in January or February.
Kindergarten: Results will be shared before March 1, 2026.
